Celebrating Independence: Parade

Roll the celebration into the morning of July 4th with our annual Independence Day Parade! Help us fill the downtown streets with red, white, and blue while watching all the creative parade entries. Want to be part of the parade? Application for any non-profits, businesses, civic groups, churches and families are being accepted now. This year we will have an official application to participate in our beloved Pet Parade. Pets must be on a leash or in a carrier but all types of pets are welcome. Roads will be closed by 7:30am, patriotic pets will kick off the fun at 9:45am, and the official parade will get rolling at 10:00am. Following the parade, stick around Tufts Memorial Park for the Sandhills Farmers Market. The Sandhills Farmers Market features some of the many wonderful farms, nurseries, bakeries, meat and egg providers, cheesemakers, and specialty food producers our area has to offer.
