computer chipThe Chief Information Officer (CIO) reports directly to the Assistant Village Manager of Administration and is a member of the senior leadership team. In addition to the CIO, the Information Technology Department (IT) includes an Infrastructure Administrator, IT Systems Specialist, Business Analyst, and IT Technician. All of these positions are responsible for the support, maintenance, and security of hardware, software, and network infrastructure. All expenditures of this department are charged back to other departments in the form of internal service charges.

Information Technology services includes:

Maintaining more than 20 software programs and applications that support municipal services as well as the Village website, mobile app, database servers, email servers, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and a downtown kiosk.

Managing a secure network infrastructure that has multiple WAN connections and over 320 devices including computers, physical and virtual servers, Wi-Fi, printers, and other technology equipment.

Maintaining the audio visual technology used in meeting rooms across the Village campus.

Completing approximately 100 work orders monthly.
