Municipal Code Section 71.17 allows the operation of golf carts on a public street or road within the Village.  Golf carts are not allowed on state roads which include, NC 211, US 15-501, NC 5, NC 2, Morganton Road, Page Road and Linden Road.  

If you plan to drive a golf cart on Village streets, please take the time to read the ordinance for all the requirements.

A golf cart sticker application is required to be filled out and submitted to Village Hall which is located at 395 Magnolia Road.  A one-time $20.00 fee is required when you submit your application.  At this time you will receive your registration sticker, diagram showing where the sticker is to be located on the golf cart, copy of the ordinance, and a map showing where golf carts can cross and which roads are restricted.
