Surplus equipment and vehicles can be purchased from the Village through public or private sales, according to North Carolina General Statues.  These sales are held throughout the year, but at least annually.

The Village publicly auctions most items on the GovDeals online auction site.  Real estate and other high-value items are also advertised in The Pilot newspaper prior to sale.
