Pinehurst Parks & Recreation Department’s Youth Basketball League is now open for registration online at www.pinehurstrec.org.

 

This program is for girls and boys to have FUN while learning the basic fundamentals of basketball. Seven divisions will be offered:  co-ed 5 – 6, co-ed 7 – 8, boys 9 – 10, girls 9 – 10, boys 11 – 12,  girls 11 - 12, and co-ed 13-14. All games and practices will be held at Pinehurst Elementary School (except for the girl’s leagues which may practice and play some games in Southern Pines and Aberdeen, depending on participation numbers.) First practice is the weekend of December 3. Age will be determined as of January 1, 2017. The deadline to register is Thursday, November 3.  Space is limited and registration will be cut off if maximums are reached before the deadline.  Anyone interested in coaching should indicate so while registering.

 

Coaches Meeting: Monday, November 14 at the Recreation Room, starting at 6:00 p.m.

 

Cost: $20 Residents, $40 Non-Residents
