Once a year, the Village of Pinehurst comes alive with holiday spirit at the annual Christmas Tree Lighting. Bring your family and friends to Tufts Memorial Park for music, holiday cheer, cookie decorating, kids’ holiday crafts, and of course, the chance the see Santa! Enjoy holiday fun from 5:00pm-7:30pm and the official lighting of the tree is scheduled for 6:30pm. This is a free event for your family to enjoy, but food and beverages will be available for purchase. Canned goods and non-perishable items will be collected for the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina (Sandhills Chapter). We will be raffling off the 2019 Village of Pinehurst Christmas ornament and the only way to get a ticket is to bring in a canned good for the fundraiser!

Thanks to our sponsor Kirk Tours & Limousine, parking will be made easy with free shuttles to and from the event! Two shuttles will run from 4:30pm-8:00pm, picking up at Village Hall and dropping off near the flag pole in the heart of downtown. Return to the flag pole when you are ready for a ride back to Village Hall!
