NC State LibraryGreat News! The Given Memorial Library is now a member of the
State Library of North Carolina (SLNC).  

 

The SLNC offers an amazing variety and depth available to our patrons through on-line and in person services. In order to use these services, simply click HERE and apply for a library card from the Government and Heritage Library. To use many of the other services you will select Given Memorial Library from a drop-down menu and use your Given Memorial Library card number--it’s that easy.

Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped

The NCLBPH is a special public library that circulates books and magazines especially made for persons who cannot use regular printed material because of a visual or physical disability. The library is located in Raleigh, but mails materials throughout the state. The NCLBPH is a state agency operated by the SLNC as a part of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources. It is also a part of the network of regional libraries operated by the Library of Congress National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled. To sign up to use these services, click HERE.
