Shop Small this Spring

 SHOP SMALL THIS SPRING - May 1 - May 13, 2023

We think “Shop Small” should be a concept carried throughout the year and not just in November for Small Business Saturday. So, the Village is bringing back “Shop Small This Spring” for the third year - a promotion to encourage residents to shop small year-round.

As an added incentive, those who make purchases at Village of Pinehurst businesses* (including goods, food, drinks, and services) between Monday May 1 - Saturday, May 13, 2023, shoppers will be eligible to win a weekly prize as well a grand prize gift basket filled with items from Village of Pinehurst businesses.  Simply bring your proof of purchase(s) to the Welcome Center during that time period on Wednesdays - Saturdays from 10:00am and 4:00pm to be entered into the weekly & grand prize gift basket drawings.  For every verified and eligible receipt that you have representing a purchase from a Pinehurst business, you will receive one entry.   Additionally,  to encourage "shopping small and shopping often", we will be also giving away a daily swag bag filled with fun VOP items.  So each day (for a total of 8 days) all people who bring in receipts for that day, would be eligible for the swag bag drawing.

Must be 21 years or older to participate and be eligible for drawings.

*  Village of Pinehurst businesses include all businesses within the town limits .  This includes businesses located in Village Center, on Linden Road, Midland Road, the McIntyre Rd/McCaskill Rd area, Hwy 5 VOP locations, etc).

The Welcome Center is located at 90 Cherokee Road in the Theatre Building (directly across from the Roast Office and Given Book Store) and is open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Shop small, shop often, and have more chances to win!   Please check back here periodically for updates to how much the baskets are valued at and which businesses have donated to this event so far.

The baskets and giveaways are worth, in total, $4,141.
