Join us for a morning of fun in the Village as we celebrate the USA with our annual Independence Day Parade followed by fun and food vendors on the Village Green and our annual Patriotic Pet Contest. The Sandhills Farmers Market will also have local fruits and veggies for sale.

It's free to participate in the parade: entries will be accepted from non-profits, businesses, civic groups, churches, and families. Parade entry forms are available here.

Think you've got the best pet ever? Join us for our annual Pet Contest and Pet Parade! 

Choose one category for entry:

· Owner and Pet Lookalike

· Cutest Adopted Pet

· Cutest Non-Traditional Pet

· Best Dressed Non-Patriotic Pet

In addition, all pets are welcome to participate in the Most Patriotic Pet category!

Pet contest registration will take place at the green VOP tent from 8:30am-9:00am and judging will take place at 9:15am. Following the pet contest, the pet parade will kick off the Fourthfest parade at 9:45am!
